At POHLI, not only the company color is not GREEN!

Due to the processing of fossil fuels, the concentration of CO² in the earth’s atmosphere has risen sharply since the beginning of industrialization. Thanks to many years of research and development work, it is now possible to produce bioplastics entirely or to a large extent from renewable raw materials, i.e. plants. The advantage is obvious: plants consume CO² and thus make an effective contribution to reducing the greenhouse effect.

Responsibility for the world of tomorrow! Already now!

Another aspect is that the world’s oil reserves are finite and we should already be using alternatives to petroleum-based plastics. That is why we offer a large part of our range made from bioplastics as an alternative. These bioplastics are not only based on renewable raw materials, but some are also biodegradable.

Recycling is an alternative to conserving oil reserves. Glass packaging can be recycled as often as required without any loss of quality. The use of cullet is common practice in glass production. A positive side effect is that less energy is required for the melting process. But plastics can also be recycled and reused if they are collected separately. We therefore offer bottles and cans made entirely or partially from PCR material as a further alternative to sustainability. PCR stands for “post-consumer recycled”. By using these materials, you can save valuable resources and significantly improve your carbon footprint.
